Shoulda, woulda, coulda scheduled the Oppo meet-up for this weekend instead of last weekend! Holy crap there were a lot of cars, owing to the great weather on Saturday.
I had to whittle down over 300 photos that I took on Saturday down to around 140. The photos were taken with a Nikon D800E and either an AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II or a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art. You can view the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Thanks! I used the HTML IFrame embed option when I clicked on the share link on the new Flickr UI. I pasted that code into the HTML view of the Kinja editor.

Thanks! I went to a car show yesterday and have over 50 photos but don't want to do it one by one by one by one...

Hmmm, makes me wonder if I've ever crossed paths with another Opponaut and not realized it. You know, because internet.

I think I had around 350-400 photos that day. Plus all the video footage. I loved that little Elise track car and the Callaway C6.

Yeah, that's kind of what I did before I Kinja stopped accepting external image embeds from Flickr for some reason. Was a PITA and glad the slideshow option works.

That camera of yours can make any car look drop-dead gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure we all have. It's not like we all have an OLED name badge that displays all of our digital identities on us all of the time ;)

It was great seeing that Elise and that Callaway Corvette. I think that blue on that Stingray is now my preferred Stingray color. Not a huge fan of white, silver or red on the Stingray; but, man that blue and black are perfect.

But we should...

Is it weird if the only car that looked interesting was the custom 2-seater Lotus 72-like vehicle?

Thanks, but I'm sure someone better at photography and post-processing could do even more wonders ;) I'm definitely starting to get better handling the D800E and getting really into the swing of things with both lenses. The 50mm and 85mm are now starting to collect dust ;)

It's unique, that's for sure.

Yup, favorite color on the C7 ever since I saw one at the Portland Auto Show.

Great photos, thanks for sharing!
I wish St. Louis had C&C shows.

Thanks! I wonder if there are a couple of car meets that are held regularly in the St. Louis area by local car clubs. If so, someone might want to organize an impromptu Cars and Coffee event, maybe once a month and let it grow organically.

There is a show that goes on every Friday at a Sonic right by my house, but it's more classics. Definitely not a problem, but sometimes I want to see some insane stuff like whats at the C&C shows! haha

There is one every third Saturday at 9616 Manchester. Starts around 0830 and runs till 1100.
If you're on Facebook join the "St. Louis Cars and Coffee" group for announcements of many of the local exotic get-togethers,
